HIGHLIGHTS

  • At day 1 trek begins from sankari to chillurgad. trekkers begin to enjoy the beautiful view of Himalayan Mountains like Swargarohini, Vijay Top, Leka Danda etc. Others attraction includes dense forests of Deodar, Pine, Maple, Rhodendron, Oaks etc and wild animals like Wild Boar, Deer, Wild cock etc.
  • At day 2 trek begins from chillurgad to Rainbasera. Trekkers enjoy panoramic views of Supin river. During trek trekkers get to see beautiful mountains, meadows, waterfall, dense forests of different flora etc. During trek trekkers also have to cross river Supin and can enjoy bird watching of bird like monal, vulture, griffon, koel, sparrow etc. On arriving at Rainbasera trekkers enjoy cool breeze and beauty of river Supin.
  • At day 3 trekkers start their trek from Rainbasera to Ruinsara lake. During the trek trekkers enjoy viewing waterfalls, streamlets, dense forests of Local Jamun, Bhojpatra etc. On arriving Ruinsara lake trekkers camp nearby lake where they can see wild animals like wild boar, black bear, leopard, blue sheep, bharrals, Ghorals etc and get to enjoy beautiful scene of sunset and different panoramic views of peaks like black peak, swargarohini 1, Ruinsara peak, hanging glacier etc.
  • At day 4 trekkers start their trek from Ruinsara lake to Odari. During the trek trekkers enjoy seeing Great Himalayan Meadows and trees of Bhojpatra and a large variety of flora and fauna. On reaching Odari trekkers can enjoy sightseeing and at night can enjoy star gazing.
  • At day 5 trekkers start their trek from odari to balicall by passing through Ridge walk. This is one the best day of the trek as during ridge walk trekkers get a very new type of experience and splendid view of Swargarohini Range, Dhumdar kandi pass, and centuries old glaciers. On arriving Balicall trekkers can enjoy sightseeing of different mountain ranges along with beautiful Himalayan sunset.
  • At day 6 trekkers start their trek from balicall to lower dhamni via Bali pass. This is the most beautiful and toughest day of trek full of challenges and technicalities. Most serene views of Himalayan range like Saptrishi Kund(the origin of river Yamuna), Banderpoonch Peak etc are the major attraction of the trek.
  • At day 7 trekkers start their trek from Lower dhamni to Jankichatti via yamunotri temple. This is the last day of the trek but not the least as during this day trekkers will enjoy Full dense forests of oaks full of birds, wild animals, reptiles and mammals. On arriving Yamunotri trekkers can visit centuries old holy temple of Deity Yamuna the goddess of River Yamuna. From there trekkers leave for Jaanakichatti a beautiful small town situated in foothills of Himalayas.
